SERENITY BY THE SEA Provincetown celebrates its 33rd year of recovery, unity, and service for the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans-gender, Queer, Questioning) community and all of our friends. Provincetown, Massachusetts is the idyllic backdrop for this amazing 5 days of 12-Step meetings, workshops and activities. Provincetown offers a dynamic setting for our exciting, friendly, and diverse weekend full of recovery, growth and spirituality. Many folks come early and stay late, so come spend the week in Provincetown.

Update about Provincetown Roundup in light of Covid-19 (Cornonavirus)

Dear Friends of the Provincetown Roundup –

We hope you are all safe and doing well. In respect for the health and safety of our guests, friends in recovery and the townsfolk of Provincetown we will not be meeting in person for the Roundup on October 21- 25. Instead, we are working on developing a virtual event for the same dates. We remain committed to our mission of carrying the message of recovery and offering a chance for people to share their experience strength and hope in these challenging times.

This has been a difficult decision. We will miss seeing, hugging and sharing with you all. We are mindful that Tradition One tells us “Our common welfare should come first.” In light of that, this decision became very clear.

We usually open registration on Memorial Day weekend, but as we are building the virtual event from scratch that date may be somewhat delayed as we evaluate the virtual event’s technical requirements and costs.

If you have already made hotel reservations for the Roundup you can call the Provincetown Inn at (508) 487-9500 and they will allow you to cancel with no penalty, and give you a full refund if you made a deposit. Please be advised that the Inn is currently closed in keeping with Massachusetts’ Governor Baker’s statewide stay at home orders. The Inn is scheduled to open on June 5th, but that may change as the situation here is still quite flexible.

Thank you for your support and friendship through the years, and of course your collective experience, strength and hope. We wish you all the best, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Provincetown in person when it is safe to do so.

We know we can get through this together, using the tools of our Programs one day at a time.

Thank you, Provincetown Roundup 2020 Committee: Dan, Eric, Gerri, Jen, Jim, Marty, Michael, Michelle, Oliver, Paul, Peter, Ross, Shane, Tom, and Will.
