Update about Provincetown Roundup in light of Covid-19 (Cornonavirus)

We hope you are well and taking care of yourselves and your loved ones at this challenging time.

Though October is a long way off, we’re writing to update you about our plans for the 2020 Provincetown Roundup. Obviously the most important thing is the health and safety of our attendees, staff, volunteers, hotel personnel and their friends and families. We will continue to consult with relevant authorities and healthcare experts as we plan.

At this time, we are planning to move forward with the Roundup as scheduled on October 21-25th, if it is deemed safe to do so as the time draws closer. Knowing that the current situation is changing rapidly, and efforts to contain the Covid-19 pandemic will likely be ongoing we are announcing a broad refund policy. We are planning to open registration in late May as usual, but with the understanding that we will refund in full any Registration or restaurant reservation fees collected if the event must be canceled, or significantly changed.

Additionally, we will accept refund requests made at least two weeks in advance if the event is happening as scheduled, but you don’t feel comfortable attending. Within the two-week time period immediately prior to roundup we will consider refund requests on a case by case basis.
First and foremost, our concern is with our recovery family. We are deeply grateful for your participation though the years and wish you all well.

We know that the isolation of the recommended “social distancing” can be challenging to our recovery, so we encourage you avail yourselves of the numerous online and conference call meeting options that are being created.

Thank you for being part of the Provincetown Roundup Family,

- Provincetown Roundup Board, Michelle, Eric, Tom, Jen, Oliver and Will.
